Jack Garratt may not be immediately familiar to you, but he has been on the up and up and up in the music scene for at least the past couple of years and recently his rise has seen him winning both the BBC Sound poll of 2016 and the Critic’s Choice Award at last month’s Brit Awards, which is no small feat. Jack Garratt released his much-anticipated debut album Phase on Feb 18th, 2016.
It is a great debut album, playing with many different genres, from acoustic ballads drenched in dubstep to electro-alt R&B and much more. Phase is very versatile, as is his voice.
Jack Garratt is a one-man band, playing the drums, guitar and keyboard and often all at the same time. He is an artist of immense talent and definitely one to watch.
